Leade.rs is a platform that helps event organizers find and book the best speakers. I designed the iOS app to help speakers manage their profiles and handle inbound speaking requests.
"The base iOS app was released in April 2017 after beta testing with a closed group of technology speakers in San Francisco."
Defining User Flows
Speaker Onboarding
Collecting information viewed by event organizers to filter speakers by background and content.
Opportunity Flow
A full funnel from request receipt to term submission or decline confirmation.
Booked Event Flow
Post-booking confirmations and experience reviews after the event is completed.
Iterating Onboarding
I started by breaking out every piece of speaker metadata into individual modular screens. This helped identify edge cases and branching paths early.
Framer Classic was used to prototype these flows for multiple devices (iPhone SE to 8 Plus), ensuring all critical CTA's and prompts remained above the fold across different resolutions.
Define Components Early
To speed up development, I mapped every Sketch symbol to a Swift-based component. We strictly adhered to iOS system text styles and documented custom UI for rapid implementation.
The final onboarding was designed to be modular—users could see what was required but had the freedom to skip, with subtle reminders integrated into the main app experience.
